At the start of the Lunar New Year, Xinjiang Radio and Television Station focused on Saurer's Xinjiang factory, covering the company’s achievements in the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. Building on its strengths in resources and industrial foundations, Xinjiang is accelerating the digital transformation and upgrading of its manufacturing sector. By carrying out the "Artificial Intelligence + Characteristic Industrial Clusters" action plan, the region is prioritizing the development of high-value application scenarios in fields including equipment manufacturing, launching a number of leading demonstration and benchmark projects, and injecting new momentum into high-quality economic development. As the largest among Saurer Group’s four core global manufacturing bases, Saurer's Xinjiang factory is currently ramping up production of more than 10 types of large-scale textile spinning machinery at world-leading standards. The newly launched Carding machine features an added online detection system, enabling intelligent adjustment in the core carding zone and area of debris. Equipped with permanent magnet motor technology, the machine reduces overall power consumption by 30%, increases output by 18% compared with the previous generation, and cuts energy consumption by 20%. Mr. PEI Guoqing, General Manager of Saurer's Xinjiang factory , noted: "Our production capacity has quadrupled year-on-year, hitting an all-time high. Our products are mainly supplied to the five provinces and regions in Northwest China and Central Asia. Through our cooperation with Huawei, we have upgraded our smart factory to a pioneering, industry-leading level."
