Entrusted by the China National Textile And Apparel Council (CNTAC), the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) organized and convened a scientific and technical payoffs appraisal meeting in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province on June 5, 2025. The meeting evaluated two science and technology guidance projects completed by Saurer (Changzhou) Textile Machinery Co., Ltd.: "Autopluck6 Gantry Bale Plucker" (Project No. 2024079) and "Autocard SC8 Carding Machine" (Project No. 2024078).

The appraisal committee experts listened to the research work and technical reports, user application reports, and novelty search reports submitted by the project completion unit, reviewed relevant documents, inspected the production site, and conducted discussions (question-and-answer discussions). The committee concluded that both projects fully met the requirements of their task books. The overall technical level of the Autocard SC8 Carding Machine reached the international advanced level, with its effective carding area being internationally leading. The Autopluck6 Gantry Bale Plucker achieved an overall technical level of international advanced standard. The committee unanimously agreed to pass the scientific and technological achievement appraisal.
